Julia is a NYC-based psychotherapist who specializes in helping high-achieving individuals navigate everyday challenges and major life changes.
Julia’s approach is warm, attentive, and solutions-focused. She integrates traditional psychotherapy with cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques to help clients channel their inner strength and make positive and desired changes in their lives.
Julia specializes in helping clients work through interpersonal and romantic relationships, career growth and change, work dissatisfaction, as well as anxiety, depression, and self-esteem related issues.
Julia is especially passionate about helping women succeed at work. As a former corporate employee, Julia has a unique understanding of the challenges women face within the workplace, whether they are related to individual performance and self-worth, navigating complex internal systems, or managing difficult people and environments. Julia works both therapeutically and practically to help clients achieve their career goals, and improve their day to day work lives.
Julia is well-versed in working with individuals who are entering therapy for the first time, as well as those returning after a break.
“I believe in a holistic approach to psychotherapy that incorporates psychodynamic techniques with cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and real-time skill building. I welcome the client’s feedback and input throughout our work together. I believe that you are the foremost expert on yourself; my role is to guide you on becoming the best version of that self. Together, we will create the space for meaningful change in your life.”
